Blo Orlando

Blo Orlando opened in April 2015 and was the first blow dry bar to open in the Orlando area. Blo Orlando is currently owned and operated by Katie Mayes, who purchased the location in October 2020. Katie embodies the entrepreneurial spirit beyond her ownership of Blo Orlando and Blo Winter Garden through the interests she and her husband hold in multiple companies in the wealth management and asset management sectors.

Katie grew in up in a small North Carolina town which instilled the values of hard work and good manners that she considers key to creating a positive culture for Blo employees and for clients. A firm believer that creating an inclusive, energetic and team spirited environment is the key to making Blo Orlando a place for clients to receive not only a great Blow out or makeup service but also feel like they are enjoying time with friends.

Katie is an active member of the Junior League of Greater Orlando. She and her husband, Tommy, enjoy spending time on the lake where they live. She has 3 stepchildren that have all left the nest.  Fortunately, her two Maine Coon cats don’t show interest in leaving anytime soon.

Blo Orlando is located on the first floor of the Skyhouse Apartment building, at the corner of Magnolia and Livingston.

Cancellation policy:

We require 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment to avoid charging a cancellation fee of $25 per service booked. By entering your credit card information, which is encrypted and stored to your customer profile, you agree to accept our cancellation and no-show policy fees. All applicable cancellation fee(s) will be charged to your card if you cancel within 24 hours of the start of your appointment.

To be considered valid, cancellations must be made through the location at which the appointment was made via the Blo app, email or phone at least 24 hours prior to the appointment. For appointments cancelled within 24 hours the $25 cancellation fee per service booked will apply. For group bookings of two or more, each guest that cancels within 24hrs will be charged $25 per service booked. If you or any member of your group fails to cancel or show for your appointment(s) you will be considered a no-show and the no-show policy will apply.

Please note that Blo Bridal services, Blo on the Go (BOTG) and Blo Parties are subject to different cancellation policies and fees. Deposits paid on Blo Bridal, BOTG and Blo Party bookings are non-refundable. Please refer to the Blo Bridal, BOTG or Blo Party agreement as prepared by the Blo Location providing said services for full pricing, terms and conditions.

No Show Policy

If you no-show for your appointment, you will be charged the full cost of each service booked (the total cost of the appointment). Your appointment will be considered a no-show if you fail to show up or fail to cancel or reschedule prior to the start of your appointment. For group bookings of two or more, your card will be charged for each service that any member of the group fails to show for. By entering your credit card information, which is encrypted and stored to your customer profile, you agree to accept our cancellation and no-show policy fees.

Late Policy

If you are 10+ minutes late for your appointment, we might have to cancel, reschedule, or adjust your service(s) to fit the remaining time. If we adjust, cancel or reschedule your service, you will be charged the full cost of the service(s).
