Heather Stankard is a multi-unit Franchise owner with the Toronto-based chain Blo Blow Dry Bar. The corporate franchise announced last year, that it signed the largest individual deal since the company's first location in 2007 by adding six new franchise locations to the North Florida area, all owned by Heather. Heather will own and operate the six Blo locations spread across Duval, St Johns and Clay counties, with plans to open a new location every year.Heather’s first location, Blo Jacksonville opened in early 2017. Heather bought the location from a previous owner and prides herself in turning the business completely around. As the world’s leading blow dry bar franchise, Blo Blow Dry Bar’s mission is to uplift and enhance the lives of those in our community through the power of flawless blow outs and beauty. Our aim is to always be the blow dry bar chosen first by customers, staff and business owners. We recognize that it is a privilege to be chosen, and we take this seriously.Heather is a Registered Nurse by trade and was looking to own her own small business. She had been a long-time client of Blo, in Jacksonville and in other major cities. She loved the concept so much, the rest is history. Her favorite part of owning a Blo Franchise says Heather, “is meeting all of our amazing and loyal clients and building her second family with her staff. “I really have the most talented, kind-hearted, and passionate staff. I am beyond Blessed!”Heather is active in the Jacksonville community, sitting on the Disaster Relief team for the state of Florida. (She was also a semi-finalist to be a contestant on Survivor!). She often works with local charities and schools to give back to the community.
