Thick hair problems, solved.
Thick hair is a wonderful thing—just look at the vast array of products promising fuller, more voluminous strands. But anyone blessed with an abundant mane knows that fullness often comes at the cost of extra styling time and effort, especially when attempting to curl it.
“Thick hair is heavy, resistant to heat, and curls can drop quickly,” says Becca Raziuddin, director of artist education at Blo Blow Dry Bar. But that doesn’t mean you can’t achieve great results with help from the right curling iron. For curls that last, Raziuddin recommends using a high-heat setting (after applying a heat protectant, of course), tackling small sections of hair, and pinning each curl until it’s cool.
